Os movimentos estudantis que eclodiram no maio de 1968 na França foram os que tiveram o maior destaque. Outros movimentos emergiram no contexto e exerceram alguma influência na crítica da sociedade capitalista. Um desses movimentos é o da contracultura, que foi mais forte nos EUA mas que também criticava o modo de vida americano e buscava uma alternativa a sociedade capitalista. Analisar esse movimento, suas características e seus desdobramentos é a proposta desse trabalho

THE COUNTERCULTURE
ABSTRACT: The student movements that erupted in may of 1968 in France were those that had the most prominence. Other movements emerged in the context and exerted some influence on the critique of capitalist society. One such movement is that of the counterculture, which was stronger in the US but which also criticized the american way of life and sought an alternative to capitalist society. analyzing this movement, its characteristics and its unfolding is the proposal of this work.
